The quizzes provide you with instant feedback, showing you which policies and practices your service is doing well in, and where improvements can be made.
Results and feedback from your self-assessments are saved to your profile and can be printed to share with service staff and families.
Complete self-assessments that are relevant to your service, including practices related to:
Infant feeding – includes breastfeeding, introduction of solids, and responsive feeding practices.
Healthy eating menus – includes provision of healthy foods on the service menu in accordance with standards and nutrition guidelines.
Healthy eating activities and educator practices – includes learning experiences and role modelling of healthy eating.
Healthy eating policy and professional development – includes components of the nutrition policy and training for service staff.
Healthy eating family practices – includes food provided in lunchboxes, education for families, and family awareness and involvement in healthy eating activities.
Physical activity provision and sedentary time – includes physical activity time, structured and unstructured physical activity, outdoor playtime, opportunities to develop fundamental movement skills, and sitting time.
Physical activity environment and educator practices – includes role modelling of physical activity, engaging children in physical activity, and providing fixed and portable equipment to encourage physical activity.
